The Graduate Nursing Program of the Intercollegiate Consortium for a Master’s in Science of Nursing (ICMSN) seeks to prepare professional nurses at an advanced theoretical and clinical practice level in order to address present and potential health needs of south Louisiana.
The Master of Science in Nursing program is offered through a consortium of four universities, who work together to provide a comprehensive curriculum that will prepare you for exciting opportunities in the health care profession. Faculty members, experts in distance education, clinical practice, and research, mentor students in specialty concentrations:
- Family Nurse Practitioner
- Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Nursing Education
Nursing students are taught and mentored by outstanding faculty known for their leadership in education, practice, and research. Graduate students often take advantage of the opportunity to participate in faculty lead and evidence-based research.
